International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM | 6 February
Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM) remains one of the gravest violations of human rights, affecting over 230 million girls and women worldwide and causing lifelong physical, psychological, and social harm. Every year, an estimated 4 million girls remain at risk.
On this day, Women with Vision stands in solidarity with all survivors and with girls and women who continue to be at risk—both in our communities and across the diaspora. As a voluntary group, we remain committed to advocacy, education, and survivor-centered support, working tirelessly to protect the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of women and girls.
Let us continue to raise awareness, speak out against harmful practices, support survivors, and protect future generations.
Zero tolerance. Zero silence. Zero harm.
