Multiple Roles of 1,4-Diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane in the Solvothermal Synthesis of Iodobismuthates 22/03/2021

Well done Yunhe!! One of our PhD students (who completed the [3+1] Applied Chemistry degree with our Chinese partner university, NUIST) has just published a paper in Inorganic Chemistry, a publication from the American Chemical Society!! πŸΎπŸŽ‰ πŸ™Œ

Multiple Roles of 1,4-Diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane in the Solvothermal Synthesis of Iodobismuthates Hybrid bismuth-containing halides are emerging as alternative candidates to lead-containing perovskites for light-harvesting applications, as Bi3+ is isoelectronic with Pb2+ and the presence of an active lone pair of electrons is expected to result in outstanding charge-carrier transport properties....
