"I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey. Thanks to everyone who made that possible."
Our Children's Wellbeing Practitioners Training course, completed in March 2026, delivered high quality training and treated over 300 individuals for low level mental health issues. 27 Trainees from 12 services across Southern England treated young people between the ages of 5-18 years for conditions like anxiety and low mood.
- Our cohort for 2025-6 treated 307 individuals for treatment ranging from 5-18 years
- 27 students completed the training and are now working as qualified practitioners dealing with low level mental health issues in CYP
- Anxiety and low mood remain the predominant reason for referral amongst young people
The training makes a real impact on the lives of young people living in the community and once again shows the success of training in CWI.
"Thank you to all the lecturers and team for all the support. I've found the training very useful and have met some great people. I've enjoyed this course a lot and I'm excited to use this knowledge to support lots of CYP in the future."
