Last week, we held our hugely successful online PhD Symposium. Spread across 3 days, we had fantastic engagement from PhD researchers and our wider community across all disciplines. Based on audience feedback we had awards for presentations, and 3 Researchers of the Year:
Researcher of the Year for Biomedical Engineering - Udeni Jayasinghe for her work on clothing-mounted sensors.
Researcher of the Year for Biomedical Sciences - Renato Gaspar, for his work on plant flavonoids.
Researcher of the Year for Ecology and Evolutionary Biology - Donald Zulu - wild yam expert!

Dr Faustina Hwang, Associate Professor of Digital Health, designs innovative technologies that support health and well-being, ensuring that technology is usable by everyone, of any age or ability.
