http://www.reading.ac.uk/english-language-and-applied-linguistics/ Applied Linguistics, English Language and ELT at Reading is a very well-established subject area. We focus on the English language and applications of applied linguistic theory to the use and learning of English as a first and second language, and offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study.

Our MA and Undergraduate ELT students recently visited St Clare’s Oxford for their annual ELT trip.

Students had the opportunity to observe English language classes, explore CELTA methodology, and learn more about professional pathways in English language teaching.

Thank you to everyone at St Clare’s for such a welcoming and insightful visit!

Another superb programme put together by St Clare’s Oxford CELTA team for our MA and UG students. Lesson observations, tours of the centres and an outstanding lunch. Very much appreciated and see you next year!
