👏⭐️ 📕 READ-A-THON UPDATE📕 ⭐️👏
A huge heartfelt 'Thank You' to those who took part and supported on our Readathon this year ... we have made a whopping £972.61!
The success of this years event will go a long way towards enriching your child’s education. Some of the money will go towards a story teller/author coming into school and spending time with each class, bringing the love of reading and telling stories to life! We feel this will benefit every single child at Hillside and be a treat for all. The rest of the money will go towards much needed resources for the children to use in school.
Once again, a massive thank you for your help and support in this and all our fundraising events.

For anyone having a spring clear out once the house is a little quieter, don't forget the Astra recycling ♻️ bin at the school gates. They take a lot of things, think of the space you could create! And your donations raise funds for the school!! WIN WIN!!

📖 HALF TERM ACTIVITY 💜💙❤️💛🖤💚🧡
Celebrating World Book Day, and raising funds for much needed school resources, we invite the children to take part in a READ-A-THON. Like a marathon… with books.
They are to challenge themselves and set their own target. They choose a number of pages, books or minutes to read over this time frame and get sponsorship from family members and friends for doing this. They can read anything they like: comics, newspapers, books… it’s all about having fun reading!
Your child will be given a sponsorship form to use from their teacher before half term.
⭐️BONUS⭐️ PRIZE ⭐️
Every child that participates in this read-a-thon will be entered into a draw with 1 lucky
winner (picked at random) winning a gift card and a book of their choice!!
