Deputy Preschool Supervisor

Woodley Preschool is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Deputy Preschool Supervisor to join our friendly team! 💛

Working alongside the Preschool Supervisor, you’ll help provide effective day-to-day leadership and support a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, develop and thrive. 🌱

✨ Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the preschool
• Providing leadership and support to the preschool team
• Promoting high standards of care, learning and development
• Supporting an engaging preschool programme
• Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
• Assisting with safeguarding, child protection, health & safety and records
• Deputising for the Preschool Supervisor when required
• Working collaboratively with management and other professionals

👩‍🏫 Essential requirements:
✔️ Relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification
✔️ Experience working with young children in a preschool/early years setting
✔️ Good understanding of child development and safeguarding
✔️ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✔️ Ability to work effectively as part of a team
✔️ Caring, reliable and professional approach

⭐ Desirable:
Previous supervisory/leadership experience, experience in a regulated early years setting and relevant safeguarding/child protection training.

Parents, there will only be pedestrian access to Woodford park tomorrow morning.
If driving, please park considerably on Haddon Drive and remember that there will also be families from St Dominic’s parking on the street and dropping off their children too, so it is likely to be quite congested.
