Student Reps are key to this communication. As a Student Rep, you are identified as the voice for all of the students on your course.

Reading College wants to ensure that its student have a voice within the college, and that they can have a positive impact on improving the college and the services available to students. As such, you are an ambassador for your course, and we want you to:
- Get involved in decision and planning to ensure that the college is responsive to students;
- Report issues and ideas from you and your fellow

Fantastic news,

Reading College has a pair of tickets for the all starz summer party, this event will be held on the 01/06/2013 at the Madjeski stadium.
Jessie J, JLS Amelia Lilly will be gracing the stage amongst many more.

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning these tickets is to submit a 3 minute presentation and a covering letter on why it should be you that wins the tickets. These presentations will need to be emailed to [email protected] no later than the 15/05/2013. All applicants will be carefully viewed and students shortlisted to complete their presentation in front of the judging panel on Wednesday 25/05/2013.

Students’ Union Elections 2013

Reading College Students' Union is a student led organisation involving the entire student body at Reading College, and is headed by an elected Executive Committee. The Students’ Union aims to aid, provide support and representation to students by providing a platform to be seen and heard through. On top of this, they aim to improve college life for the student body socially.

We are now recruiting a new Students’ Union Executive Committee for the next academic year.

The committee shall serve in office from 1st July 2013 to the end of June 2014, with a transition period between the current members coming out of office and new ones entering to provide support for new members.

We currently have five positions available for next year
• President
• Secretary
• Communications Officer
• Events Officer
• And Societies Officer

Candidates must put themselves forward for election by Friday the 29 March 2013, and can do so by filling out a candidate application form and submitting it to myself or Gillian Davidson in Student Services.

For details of the roles, and for more information please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to visit tutor groups and classes to promote and talk about the up and coming elections.
