🐢 Meet Toby – Our Nursery Tortoise! 🐢
If you’ve ever spent time in our nursery garden, you’ve probably met Toby. He’s been with us since day one, and although no one knows his exact age, we think he’s well over 100 years old! 🎉
The children love checking in on Toby as he wanders around his pen, enjoying his favourite spots and snacks. He’s truly part of our nursery family. 💛
Very soon, Toby will be getting ready to hibernate for the winter—taking a long, cosy rest until the warmer spring days return. 🌱☀️
We’ll miss seeing him potter about the garden over the next few months, but we can’t wait to welcome him back when it’s time to wake up again!
✨ Tortoise Fun Fact!
Did you know that tortoises can live for more than 150 years? That means Toby might even outlive all of us—what an amazing friend to have in the garden! 🐢🌿

The days are starting to feel a little cooler, and we’re getting ready for crunchy leaves, cosy jumpers, and plenty of puddle-jumping fun! At nursery, we love exploring the outdoors in all weathers—whether it’s sunshine, drizzle, or a proper downpour. ☔💦
A gentle reminder to please make sure your child has:
