Hello everyone, we are really looking forward to our more lighthearted Halloween session, followed by the RUMUN Halloween party, costumes aren’t required but we would love to see them.

hello everyone, once again we have our weekly session on Monday 7-9pm in the palmer building room 111. The topic shall be the conflict in Cyprus, for those unaware of this conflict a video briefly detailing the history is attached (History: https://youtu.be/38NGVPw3UFw), the session shall be set in 1974, with the invasion of Cyprus by turkey in July 1974. Thus I have also attached a link to a map of the world in 1974 so that you can see what countries are around at that point (Map: https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag-map_of_the_world_(1974).png), please take special note of east Germany, Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union.

We at the Reading Module United Nations Society are pleased to welcome all the new students to Reading University. We have a huge offering of taster sessions and socials this year from our well practised pub crawl to our non-drinking game of diplomacy. We hope to see you at our events and we are looking forward to meeting you.

Tonight will be a short AGM and our hustings before committee election voting opens online via google form for 24 hours. The rest of the session will continue as normal with our topic being 'The Question of Ukranian Refugees'.
