It's been said that the only way to get good at riding a bike is by riding a bike. Well, that's true!
For the newbie rider, there is no substitute for getting the miles in.
Only got an hour to ride - ride for an hour.
When you are new to the sport, every ride is a learning experience. Pay attention to everything you are doing - gearing, road position, other road users, wind direction, how you're feeling, when you're changing gear, when you're braking, what you're doing when you slow down - everything.
For the new rider there is no such thing as 'junk miles' - each pedal stroke is a learning moment.

Fitness isn’t built by 'smashing' every ride.
It’s built by:
✔ knowing when to push
✔ knowing when to back off
✔ maintaining consistent weeks
That’s how strong riders stay strong.

Does your training week spiral like this?
Motivated Monday.
Hard session Tuesday.
Miss Wednesday.
Feel guilty Thursday.
Overdo it Friday.
Knackered Saturday.
“Start again Monday.”
The issue isn’t discipline.
It’s a lack of structure.
When training feels random, consistency collapses.
If you’ve restarted more times than you’d like to admit…
It’s not you.
It’s your system.
We work with athletes to give them a system that works for them. Get in touch if you want help.

Why don't many cyclists improve their climbing?
It’s sometimes about weight.
But it’s usually one of these:
1️⃣ Riding steady instead of controlled over-threshold efforts
2️⃣ Avoiding longer sustained efforts
3️⃣ Poor cadence control
4️⃣ Not fuelling properly before hard climbs
5️⃣ Never training fatigue resistance
If you want to climb better:
• Train sustained efforts
• Practice seated climbing
• Keep cadence consistent at a good rate
• Fuel properly beforehand
Climbing is a skill and should be treated as such.
Remember this post on your next hill session and get in touch if you want help to improve.

Here’s how James increased his FTP in 12 weeks, without riding more hours.
James is 47.
Busy job.
Two kids.
Couldn’t “just train more.”
He’d tried:
• Random Zwift plans
• Riding hard every session
• Following mates who are 10 years younger
And for what result? Plateau. Fatigue. Frustration.
What we did sounds simple:
✔ Structured intensity (not more volume)
✔ Proper recovery days (actually easy)
✔ Fuelled sessions correctly
12 weeks later:
More power
Leaner
Holding wheels he used to lose
Most cyclists don’t need more time.
They need better structure.
If you’re stuck at a plateau, drop us a message and see how we can help.

Hey for Business — I need a real human to look at my account, not an automated check. Meta Meta for Business
I've been unable to add a payment method to my ad account for over 2 weeks. Every support ticket gets closed with "no restrictions found" — but the problem is in your BILLING system, not account restrictions. These are two different things.
What I know:
✅ Identity verified today by Meta
✅ No account restrictions showing
❌ Cannot add payment method
❌ facebook.com/id gives me a "something went wrong" error
❌ Meta booked a support call and didn't show up
I'm a small business. I want to give Meta money to run ads. Your system won't let me. Please can someone with access to the billing backend contact me directly?
