Happy Australia Day! 🇦🇺🐨
Today, we made this cute little koala to celebrate! The children loved getting creative with fluffy ears and googly eyes while learning about Australia and its amazing animals. 💙✨

There have not been any confirmed cases of illness, but if you have any of the affected products you should not feed it to your baby. 🎄 Wow, it’s always such a busy and magical time leading up to Christmas! We’ve enjoyed lots of festive crafts, special story times, and fun parties with our little friends. ✨

At Helen’s childminding we really like the Autumn season. Watching the leaves change colour and getting to jump in huge piles of fallen leaves, as well as being able to keep cosy and enjoy comforting soups and stews!

What we don’t like though is all the little viruses and bugs that tend to come around too.

A quick reminder to get your flu jab if you can. It helps keep everyone healthier, especially the little ones who love sharing… everything. 😅

We’ve been exploring the beautiful colours of autumn! The children have loved getting creative with conkers, broccoli, paint, and plenty of imagination to make their own seasonal artwork.

This month, our focus has been on counting and colour recognition, with lots of playful activities woven into our days. The children have also enjoyed superhero dress-up, using role play to spark their imagination and storytelling skills.

It’s been a wonderful September full of learning, creativity, and fun! 💛

We’ve had an extremely busy few months: Halloween, Bonfire Night, Divali, Australia Day, Burns night, Remembrance Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Messy Play, Toddler Group and Soft Play.
