🎤✨ Poetry Jam Success! ✨🎤
A huge well done to all of the children who took part in our Poetry Jam! After learning and practising their favourite poems, they bravely stepped onto the stage and performed in front of the whole school during assembly.
From powerful performances to expressive storytelling, our young poets showcased incredible confidence, creativity and talent. We are so proud of each and every one of them for sharing their voices and bringing poetry to life!

💧🌍 Eco Day 2026 🌍💧
Last Thursday, our school celebrated Eco Day with a focus on the importance of water and how we can all help to save this precious resource.
Year 1 got creative by transforming recycled plastic bottles into colourful fish, showing how everyday items can be reused in fun and imaginative ways. 🐠♻️
Through hands-on activities and thoughtful discussions, the children explored ways to care for our planet and make a positive difference for the future.
Well done, Year 1, for your fantastic creativity and enthusiasm! 💙

Last term, Year 5 made Greek clay pots as part of their Ancient Greece topic, bringing history to life through hands-on learning.

Hawthorn class were very engrossed in their conversations this afternoon during PSHE. They were using their oracy skills to discuss scenarios involving conflict and how they would deal with it! Great work Year 2!

Year 1 have been super busy in forest school! They have been planting a variety of vegetables including carrots and cauliflower. We can’t wait to see them grow!! Great teamwork guys!

Year 1 promised they would show you their final art pieces so here they are! We used the colour wheel to help us decide what colours would contrast just like Andy Warhol did!
