🎭Last weekend Sunday 7th June, our TT Minis Junior Company and Stage 1 TT Main Company took to the stage in our new adaptation of the classic story Pinocchio.

😍It was a joy seeing them light up on stage, committing fully to every song, dance and character - such beautiful playfulness! It is so important to invite our youngest students to jump onto the stage and command the space, and seeing their confidence grow is just wonderful.

🎙️And then our TT Main Company followed this performance with our Cabaret Fundraiser in the evening- it is a show staged in just 5 hours and then performed in front of a live audience!

Our students improvise dance, song and acting, they learn the value of truly listening and responding to the moment, they realise how fun it is to play, to own the space and to bring their full commitment to the work.

🇮🇹11 Theatretrain students represented the UK at an international theatre festival in Italy from 6-10 May 2026. Sapperlot festival, held in Brixen, amongst the picturesque alps, brought together over 130 young people from 8 countries to present outstanding original theatre, whilst also enjoying cultural exchanges through skills workshops and theatre workshops with directors from many countries.

♠️♣️♥️♦️Jasmine said: ‘Performing Alice abroad was such a privilege. We put so much work into every scene and seeing it all come together on an international stage was amazing. Representing my country while doing something I love felt incredible, and made every rehearsal worth it. I’m so grateful to have been able to be a part of it and it really was a trip I will treasure forever. I would do it all again in a heartbeat’.

❤️We know that we offer really special and unique opportunities at Theatretrain and are already sold on the power of the performing arts - that’s why we do what we do! But I found this experience so uplifting … perhaps with everything that is going on around the world at the moment it felt more special, but it made me feel very emotional and proud to see young people showing the best in humanity - everyone wanted to listen, to learn, to give and receive with so much power, energy, style and kindness. And at the end of the day, everyone just wanted to laugh together and dance together. Simply Beautiful.
