This week Haywards Farm School is looking for a passionate KS1/KS2 Teacher to join our small, nurturing school. This is not a typical classroom role. You'll teach a high-quality, mainstream curriculum to children with a range of SEN and SEMH needs – adapting your approach within a trauma-informed, attachment-aware framework so that every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our classes are small, our adult-to-child ratios are high, and our aspirations for every child are higher still. You'll work alongside therapists, specialist support staff, and external professionals as part of a truly multidisciplinary team.

Juniper House School, opening September 2026.

We are proud to announce the opening of Juniper House, a new secondary school and part of Amegreen Children’s Services and Amegreen Education.

Opening in September 2026 and based in Theale, Juniper House will provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment for young people, with a focus on helping every learner feel safe, understood and ready to thrive.

This is an exciting step as we continue to grow our education provision and create more opportunities for young people to access the support they need. We look forward to sharing more updates in the coming months.

📢 Job of The Week 📢

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join Haywards Farm School in Theale, Berkshire, our Ofsted rated Outstanding independent special school.

You will teach primary aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs in small classes, using trauma informed and therapeutic approaches to create a safe and supportive learning environment. You will work closely with our therapy team and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with SEND and complex needs, strong behaviour management skills and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, with protected CPD time, strong therapeutic support and a range of staff benefits.
