New for 2026–2027 – BRIYM Parent Workshops

We’re delighted to launch our BRIYM Parent Workshop Programme, delivered by our onsite Mental Health Practitioner, Ellie Clark and other BRIYM professionals and colleagues.

Across the year we’ll be covering topics including:

Today we celebrated our 100% September attenders in assembly. Over 70% of the school were highlighted and received their “100% in September” badge. These students then took part in our celebration inflatables event. Congratulations to all of our 100% attenders. Keep it up!

Gemma has been working with young people and teachers in secondary schools for 18 years as a science teacher. She has led in pastoral, departmental and staff development roles in this time and is now Director of The WAY, a leadership development program in emotional intelligence and mental health resilience within BRIYM.

🎉 **An Incredible Achievement – Well Done, Oakbank!** 💚

We are delighted to celebrate that over 70% of Oakbank students achieved 100% attendance throughout September as part of our "Win September, Win the Year" campaign.

This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment shown by our students and the incredible support from parents and carers in helping children attend school every day.

🏅 On Monday, students will receive their "100% in September" badge during assembly, along with their invitation to our exclusive Inflatables Rewards Event.

We are also pleased to confirm that students who only missed half a day due to an essential medical appointment will also be recognised as part of this celebration.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make such a positive start to the academic year.

Students put their geography knowledge to the test with today's lunchtime challenge. Well done to everyone who took part!

🍦 Homework Rewards
Congratulations to all of our students who completed 100% of their homework this week. They enjoyed a well-deserved ice pop as a reward for their fantastic effort and commitment to learning.

🔒 Successful Lockdown Drill
This afternoon, we carried out our planned lockdown drill as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our school community safe. We were incredibly impressed with how calmly and maturely our students responded. Thank you to our staff and students for making the drill a success.
