The Old Fire Station Nursery

Due to the hot weather yesterday we took a trip down the the woodland area where we enjoyed stories, games and cuddles under the trees.

Thankyou to Kellie who kindly organised for the bin lorry to visit our setting and demonstrate how the recycling and rubbish is taken away. A perfect way to end our people who help us week.

The children and practitioners all asked some awesome questions and handed over some great thankyou pictures.

We have enjoyed exploring a recent messy event and a water play session at a nearby local venue.

The children have been encouraging each other to explore various textures and demonstrate how they move freely with confidence.

This morning USports session was all about following simple instructions and ball control.

After visiting the herd of cows and even meeting the big bull (from a distance of course 😀) we spent some time this afternoon role playing milking our own cow.

We currently have availability and accept the government funding.

A big thank you to Lucy who kindly brought in a projector for the setting, allowing us to enjoy a short movie with adult supervision as a special treat for some of our school leavers. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness and support in helping us create a fun and memorable experience for them and the extra special movie snacks.
