We're always proud to support our international students 🌍💪🏻, sharing their voice and providing them with a supportive community. Hear from me, Reading Students’ Union International Students' Officer, on why I applied for the role and about being involved with the students' union.

27/05/2023

As the International Students’ Officer of Reading Students' Union, I am honoured to appear on ITV News yesterday to discuss the government’s recent announcement to ban Master’s students from bringing family members to the UK, including the impact of the limitation for international students switching from student visas to work visas.

The Student Union is always here and feel free to drop me a message if you are panic or confused about the recent situation. Meanwhile, the University is also generating a guidance for international students regarding the same issue. Stay tuned! 📺 💫
