Our pupils had a fantastic time at the rounders tournament at Peppard CE Primary School on Tuesday.
Pupils at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge umpired and kept the score whilst out 3/4 team and 5/6 team (made up of year 5s!) played against local schools.
They worked so wonderfully well as team - cheering each other on and coaching each other. Our 3/4 team came second and our year 5s came first! 🏆
Thank you to our parent volunteers for transporting the team and for being their cheer squad!
Well done team Kidmore End!

Maple class had a lovely trip to Henley today. The children were incredible, we explored Marsh lock by foot and later by boat! We learnt a lot of interesting facts whilst we sailed along the river.
Eva - I really enjoyed the boat ride, it was really smooth and we learnt different facts along the way that was really cool.
Bella - I really liked the walk and the bridge was scary. I liked watching the birds out of the window on the boat.

On Tuesday our Key Stage 2 children were given the opportunity to take part in a STEM workshop provided by Education Business Partnership. Students worked in teams to learn about different career paths, enhancing understanding of professions and the journeys to them. Children also learnt about gender stereotypes and how they can ask questions to challenge them.
