🎹 A huge well done to Sara! 🌟

Sara has achieved a Distinction in her Grade 1 Keyboard exam! 🎉👏

She’s worked incredibly hard for this and has shown so much dedication along the way — and when we say dedicated, we mean it… she even performed at one of our Winter Concerts with a broken arm! 😱🎹

Thankfully, no broken arms required for the exam! Just lots of hard work, practice and determination.
Well deserved, Sara. Congratulations! 🥳🎶

🎹 Our Grade 2 group keyboard class in action!

They’re currently working through one of our Yamaha courses and building towards their Grade 2 material, but there’s a LOT more going on here than simply learning pieces for an exam.

Playing together means learning to listen to each other, stay together, follow the group and understand how your own part fits into the bigger picture. 🎶

They’re developing their individual keyboard skills and learning what it feels like to play as part of an ensemble — all while building up a repertoire of music along the way.

Because music lessons shouldn’t just be about passing the next grade. They should be about actually learning to make music. 💛
