Year one carnival parade.
We had such a fantastic parade this year!!! The weather was brilliant, the children were on top form and the support from you all was wonderful. The children worked so hard on their headdresses, which looked stunning alongside the colourful part clothes. They all made us so proud, performing their samba and cha cha moves like professionals!!

Infants had another fantastic visit from Berkshire reptiles this week.

The children all got the opportunity to stroke or hold a Tortoise called Digger, a blue tongued skink, one of four young pythons and a huge Python called Custard cream, we had to hold him in group because he is to heavy for us to by ourselves.

The children were all incredibly brave and extremely well behaved and asked some brilliant questions of Graham the reptile man.

Tilehurst Panthers Football Tournament
On Thursday, we were delighted to attend the Tilehurst Panthers Girls School Tournament, taking along teams from across the school: a Year 1 and 2 team, a Year 3 and 4 team, and two teams from Years 5 and 6. It was a fantastic event filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination. All of our players demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, supporting one another and playing with great respect for their opponents. There was skilful passing, impressive defending, and some brilliant goals. A special congratulations goes to our Year 1 and 2 team, who performed exceptionally well and were winners in their age group - an amazing achievement! We were very proud of everyone who took part. Well done, girls - you represented Westwood Farm brilliantly!
