Today is National Lollipop Day, a day that celebrates the invention of the lollipop, how it brightens every childhood and makes everyone happy!
However, the Child Accident Prevention Trust warns that the hard sweet can come off the stick and block a child’s airway. They urge us to please think twice before giving them to a younger child.

With Easter fast approaching families will be having great fun planning their Easter egg hunts and let's hope we have the same fab weather as this last week. When buying Easter eggs please think about the suitability for young children. The Child Accident Prevention Trust warn that mini eggs can choke small children. They are just the right size to block their airways.
