A great opportunity for someone looking for part time work to fit in with school hours. We need a part time Administrative Assistant to join our Admin team, working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 18 hours per week, term time only, starting at 8:30am.

The salary is from £25 419 to £28 226, pro rata, depending on experience.

It's an interesting, busy and varied role which involves a wide range of tasks and activities to assist in the efficient running of the school office and the school in general. You would need good office and IT skills, excellent personal, communication and teamwork skills, a flexible approach and an interest in supporting the headteacher and classroom staff to meet the needs of the children and their parents.

This is the Local Government Grade scale 8 (spinal points 18 to 23) which is an hourly rate from £13.180 to £14.63

As part of the office team, the Administrative Assistant post is an interesting, busy and varied role which involves a wide range of tasks and activities to assist in the efficient running of the school office and the school in general. The Admin Assistant post is for 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, term time only. We can be flexible with the exact hours, for example you could work 7:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm.
Salary: Grade 7, spinal point 13 to 17, £11.93 - £12.92 hourly rate; £23,023 - £24,920 pro rata.

As part of the office team, the Office Manager post is an interesting, busy and varied role which involves a wide range of tasks and activities to assist in the efficient running of the school office and the school in general. You need good office and IT skills, excellent communication and be able to show initiative and work to deadline with a variety of tasks.
The Officer Manager post is for 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, term time plus one week.
Salary: Grade 9/10 dependent upon experience, £14.63 - £17.82 hourly rate, £28,226 - £34,373 pro rata.

We have two vacancies, one for a full time class teacher and one for a part time (0.6) class teacher, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and energetic individual and are keen to hear from teachers in primary and secondary mainstream education who are considering a move into special educational needs as well as those currently working in special schools. We will consider job share applications (two part time applicants for the full time role).

We are also looking for Learning Support Assistants for both full time (30 hours per week) and part time hours, term time only, starting as soon as possible. The posts offer interesting and rewarding opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and energetic people who ideally have experience of working with children.

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions the BSA committee, in conjunction with Bishopswood School Senior Leadership team, have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the Christmas Fayre (which was scheduled for Saturday 4th December). The BSA will be holding the traditional auction remotely again this year and of course the raffle tickets have already gone out in book bags.
