**Children’s Park Run** 🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️💙🩷

When Miss Marie isn’t teaching, you’ll normally see her at a local race or Park run. Something fun for the kids and it’s free, why not give it a go at Prospect Park on Sundays

junior parkrun is a FREE event for children; it takes place every Sunday morning. First Timers Welcome at 8:45. Event starts 9am.
Nearest event to you is at Prospect park. Other nearby events are at Woodley, and Dinton Pastures. We would like to invite your parents and pupils to take part.
You will all be very, very welcome ANY Sunday. We are targeting Sunday 24th May 2026 to break our attendance record of 145 children.
junior parkrun has been taking place for 16 years all over the country!
It is organised by DBS cleared volunteers like me, with the simple aim of getting young people outdoors and active.
Last weekend alone 40,000 young people took part.
A 2km (1.2 mile) jog takes about 20 minutes, some are a bit quicker, some take their time, but nobody ever comes last – our Tail Walkers make sure of that !
Walk, jog, run. Hop, skip, or jump! It is just for fun.
