Important announcement from Dancia.

After many happy years serving the local dance community, our Reading branch will be closing on Friday 16 October 2026, as our lease comes to an end.

Although we are saying goodbye to our Reading shop, Dancia is very much continuing. Our business will be consolidated between our established Crowthorne store and our new online uniform service.

Our Crowthorne store will continue to offer all existing dance school uniforms, as well as our specialist pointe shoe fitting service. And, if you can’t visit us in person, then our new online store will make it easier than ever to shop with Dancia from wherever you are.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our Reading customers for your support over the past 18 years. It has been a privilege to serve you, and we hope you will continue to shop with us in Crowthorne and online.

Dear Parents,

URGENT: Please download your Vimeo purchases as soon as possible.

An email was sent to you on 6 September 2026 regarding changes to Vimeo On Demand. I am forwarding this reminder as the deadline is now approaching.

The email originally came from Howard, our videographer for the Dance Sensation shows, and explains that Vimeo, the third-party platform used to host our show recordings, is retiring its Vimeo On Demand (VOD) service.

Important – Vimeo On Demand is ending

From 20 November 2026, Vimeo On Demand will no longer be available.

This means that after 20 November 2026:

• All Vimeo On Demand listings will be removed.
• Customers will no longer be able to access previously purchased videos.
• Access to Vimeo On Demand will end completely.

Therefore, if you have previously purchased a Dance Sensation show through Vimeo, please make sure you download your video before 20 November 2026.

Unfortunately, once Vimeo On Demand has been phased out, you will no longer be able to access your purchase through Vimeo.

Kind regards,

Miss Marie

Re: Wednesday 24th June - lessons cancelled at Kennet Valley due to rising temperatures.

Dear Parents

Due to the hot weather and the lack of air conditioning at Kennet Valley, we have made the decision to cancel our Wednesday classes for this week only to ensure everyone’s comfort and wellbeing.

The cost of this week’s lesson will be deducted from next term’s fees.

Thank you for your understanding. Miss Marie and Shannon look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Best regards,

Marie
