We have been using social media for some time to showcase the amazing activities our staff and children do every day, as well as celebrating individual, nursery and group achievements.
After a careful review we have decided to rationalise our online presence, and as of 16th February all posts will only be shared on our ‘Complete Childcare Nurseries’ page on Facebook and Instagram, and ‘Nursery Jobs in Complete Childcare’ on Facebook.

🎉🐝 At Bees Knees we are buzzing with excitement — we’re all set for the Winter Olympics! ❄️⛷️ 🌟🥇

🌊✨ This week, our 2–5s have been busy protecting our oceans!
Our little environmental heroes used tweezers and their careful hands to help keep our mini beach and sea tray clean. They sorted out plastics, paper, and other “rubbish,” learning how important it is to keep our water habitats safe for sea animals. 🐠💙
Such a fun, hands-on way to explore caring for our planet! 🌍💛

Supporting our EAL children 🌟

At Bees Knees, our amazing staff have been busy creating brand‑new language packs 📚✨ tailored to the diverse home languages spoken by our children 🌍🗣️

These packs are designed to help every child feel confident, supported, and ready to shine on their learning journey 🚀💛

🌍One world.. many cultures! 🌍
We have been exploring the world and where we all come from. Look at all the different places the teachers and children come from at Bees Knees. We are from so different places and we loved learning about everyone’s home flag and drawing the different countries.

Yesterday we read the story ‘Old MacDonald had a phone’ to our 2 to 5’s children.

We talked to the children about the use of phones and watching television, ‘screen time’ and the consequences of using/watching them for too long.

Our children explored the tuff tray which had a farm house, farm animals, a tractor and toy phones; with some animals spending time ‘on the phone’. The children took the phones from the animals saying they can only use them for a short time, and began to explore the different textures like sand, water and grass in the tuff tray, talking about the animals and what great sounds they make! 🏡🐖🐄 📱📺

Oh wow! It’s all blue...🔵🐟🐠🐟

Our children at Bees Knees have been looking at how things appear both in real life and through binoculars…We set up a sea theme tuff tray and the children eagerly explored the tray to touch and experience various textures and talked about how things appear when viewed through binoculars!

Our children had a great time playing messy with oats yesterday; discovering who was hiding beneath them, conversing, and expressing on our faces the feelings we found on the tray! 😊

📖’Reading is a window to a whole new world’

We ❤️ our lending library in the front entrance of the nursery - which book will you choose?

Today was not an ordinary day at Bees Knees! We arrived this morning to discover that our Elf had decided to be on good terms with us! He was busy preparing tea using our special china dishes. After that, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast cooked by Mirela and Olivia 🍳🥓🍽🧇

Following breakfast, the staff began meticulously cleaning all areas of the nursery, leaving everything sparkling, while also updating some of the boards.
