Richard Best and Dorcus introduced this year’s writing competition. This year we are linking our writing competition to our sustainability topic and all of the children in school will write a story about their own eco super hero!

Year 1 and 2 were lucky enough to have some visitors from the Jewish faith in school today. They talked about their beliefs and in particular Shabbat. The children particularly enjoyed trying some challah bread!

Year 3&4 enjoyed a visit to Maidenhead mosque where they learnt about how Muslim people worship and celebrate their faith. The children asked some thoughtful questions and really impressed us with their excellent behaviour.

Foundation thoroughly enjoyed their recent visit to Wisley Gardens where they explored the beautiful gardens and took part in a ‘Fantastic Food’ workshop, exploring edible plants and finding out where different foods come from.

Some of our pupils enjoyed spending time playing games and chatting to the members of our local CAMEO group today. It is always so lovely for different generations to come together and enjoy one another’s company.

Foundation loved inviting their parents and carers in for their ‘Glorious Garden Party’ today. They organised the whole thing, from writing the invitations and menus to making the sandwiches and setting the table. They even enjoyed serving their parents their delicious party food!
