Girls’ Trip to Milan & Lake Maggiore - Part 1 🇮🇹✨

We stayed at the beautiful 5-star Meliá Milano. One of the things I love about Meliá hotels is that they use Rituals products – one of my favourite little luxuries!

I used to think a certain popular hotel ‘booking’ site always offered one of the best prices. Since working in travel, I’ve realised that isn’t always the case - I saved £130 on our 2 night stay! 🏨

We began our Milan adventure with breakfast at California Bakery, followed by a visit to the magnificent Milan Cathedral.

QC Termemilano Spa was amazing, with so many different areas to explore. I especially loved the Thunder Pool - such a unique experience! Definitely recommend a visit🧖🏽‍♀️⚡️

Dinner was at Osteria da Fortunata, the restaurant everyone on TikTok seemed to recommend! There’s a queue outside every evening, and we waited around 30 minutes for a table. While you wait, you can watch the ladies making fresh pasta by hand through the window. It was definitely worth the queue! 🍝

The following day, we headed to CityLife Shopping District for brunch and a little shopping before setting off for our next destination…

Sometimes all you need is a change of scenery… so I flew to Ibiza for breakfast. ☕🥐🌴 Because why not?

My answer is simple… because you don’t always need a whole week away or loads of annual leave to experience somewhere amazing. Sometimes one day is enough to create unforgettable memories.

The best part? So many of you have asked if you can come on one of my Extreme Day Trips with me… and honestly, I wasn’t expecting so much interest! 💕

It’s really got me thinking that maybe it’s time to start organising them…

For my first visit to Ibiza, I wanted to experience more than just the party scene—and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the charm of Dalt Vila to lunch by the pool at Wi-Ki-Woo and finishing the day watching one of the island’s famous sunsets, it was the perfect mix of exploring and relaxing.

These Extreme Day Trips prove you don’t need loads of annual leave or a huge budget to make amazing memories.
