Chapel Lane Pre School

Today we adapted the garden environment to support and extend the children’s current skills and interests. We placed simple tools such as tweezers, scoops and bowls to encourage the development of fine motor skills, creativity and exploratory play.

The children will engage in hands-on sensory experiences, using natural resources to investigate, mix, pour and create.
These opportunities encourage problem-solving, imagination, hand-eye coordination and collaborative play whilst supporting curiosity and independent learning. 🍃

We can’t believe there are only 2 weeks left of this half term before the final term begins… 😥🤍
What a wonderful year it has been so far. Filled with creativity, friendships, social development, giggles and lots of belly laughter ✨

****Volunteer opportunity****

Do you love stories, little giggles and making special memories? 📚

We are looking for a kind volunteer to visit us occasionally to read to our children.

You don’t need any experience- just a warm heart and love for sharing a good story. Even one short visit every now and then would mean the world to our little learners. ❤️

** Early Years practitioner

We are looking for hard working individuals to join our team on a full time basis!

* Working hours: Monday- Friday 8.30-3.30 (Term time only)
* Salary dependent on qualifications and relevant experience
* NNEB/NVQ3 or equivalent desirable
* Experience within Early Years essential
* Good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection, H&S, Food Safety and Confidentiality preferred

📌 Main Responsibilities to include;

* Consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that includes all children
* Make accurate and effective assessments which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development
* Work within a team to ensure an enabling environment providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities

Allotment update;

Sam and her husband have been extremely busy, they continue to add and maintain the amazing grounds at the allotment.
Sam has now completed 4 practical days for her forest school training, it all sounds incredible and we can’t wait for it all to commence.

To all of our current families and families joining in January we are hosting our AGM On Monday 3rd November at the pavilion from 7pm, if you would like to know more about forest school and a year in review of the preschool please do join us 😊
