Happy Holidays! ☀️

Today was wonderful, we all celebrated our last day together at legoland. It was so lovely to see so many smiley faces… we hope you all enjoyed as much as we did ☺️

Thank you all for a wonderful term – what an amazing year it has been! We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and for being such an important part of our Chapel Lane family.

Your kind words and generous gifts were lovely! Thank you very much, everything was greatly appreciated 😊

To all of our children who are starting school this September, we wish you every success on your new adventure. Enjoy every moment, embrace every opportunity, and always believe in yourselves. We know you'll all do brilliantly! ❤️

A huge thank you to our wonderful team for all of your hard work, dedication and commitment this year. It has been fantastic to celebrate so many achievements:

🎉 Katie O successfully completed her Level 3 Early Years qualification, achieving a well-deserved Distinction. 🍾

🌟 Rebecca completed her Level 3 SEN qualification and has taken on the role of Lead SENCo.

🌟 Rachel completed her Inclusion course and is already bringing her new knowledge and practical skills into the setting.

🌿 Sam completed her Level 3 Forest School training, including four full days of immersive forest learning, developing practical skills alongside the underpinning theory. We can't wait to fully embrace Forest School practice at Chapel Lane.

👏 Kayleigh has worked incredibly hard on her Level 3 qualification and is now almost 80% complete. She has also recently passed her Functional Skills – a fantastic achievement!

📚 Katie has begun her Level 5 qualification, and we are excited to support her as she embarks on this next stage of her professional journey.

We are incredibly proud to be surrounded by practitioners who are passionate about continuing their professional development and enhancing their knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide the very best experiences for the children in our care.

To all of the children returning in September, we can't wait to welcome you back for another year full of fun, laughter, learning and exciting adventures. We also look forward to meeting our new children and families as we build our 2026/27 Chapel Lane family together.

🍦A little end-of-term treat! 🍦

As we near the end of another wonderful term, we were delighted to provide the children with a visit from the ice cream van! 🍦💙

We can’t quite believe it’s almost time to say goodbye to some of our amazing children as they begin their next adventure at school. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best as they start this exciting new chapter. 🌟📚

It was also so lovely to see some familiar faces today. There is nothing more special than seeing children who have moved on still remembering that Chapel Lane was their preschool. Watching them pop back to say hello really does make our day and reminds us what a special little community we have. ❤️

Looking for a warm, welcoming, friendly and fun environment where your child can learn, play and thrive?

✨ New for September 2026! ✨

Due to popular demand, we are delighted to be offering an additional hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, extending our session from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

This extra session provides even more opportunities for children to explore, learn, make friends and build confidence in a nurturing environment.

In recognition of feedback from current and prospective families, chapel lane are considering a 4pm finish Tuesday-Thursday, we have already had a great response. 🥳

Marks and Spencer’s have their annual 20% of school uniform.
All supermarket uniform is great quality, should anyone still need uniform for September 😀

Today we adapted the garden environment to support and extend the children’s current skills and interests. We placed simple tools such as tweezers, scoops and bowls to encourage the development of fine motor skills, creativity and exploratory play.

The children will engage in hands-on sensory experiences, using natural resources to investigate, mix, pour and create.
These opportunities encourage problem-solving, imagination, hand-eye coordination and collaborative play whilst supporting curiosity and independent learning. 🍃

We can’t believe there are only 2 weeks left of this half term before the final term begins… 😥🤍
What a wonderful year it has been so far. Filled with creativity, friendships, social development, giggles and lots of belly laughter ✨
