Ms Helen Lam is a pianist, singer, flutist, choral conductor, handbell conductor
and an avid music lover. She has strong commitment in music education and
performance over 20 years. After she re-located to the United Kingdom, she keeps on promoting music at local schools through piano and vocal teaching. She is capable to stretch all of her students to their full potential. Lam holds a master degree of Choral Conducting awarded by University of Saint
Joseph. She also holds a bachelor degree of music (music education) from the
Hong Kong Baptist University with first class honor, a bachelor degree of business
administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a
postgraduate diploma in psychology from Chinese University of Hong Kong. Lam
obtained the Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music London (LTCL) in piano
performance with distinction, a Grade 8 Distinction in Voice, a Grade 8 Merit in
Flute and a Grade 8 Merit in Theory from the Royal School of Music. Community involvement is a high priority for Lam. She is now playing organ at St. Peter's and Paul's Church at Shiplake. She is supporting the singing group at Henley Manor by being a pianist.
