Abacus Reading University ABACUS (The Association of British and Chinese Union of students)

The Association of British and Chinese Union of Students (ABACUS for short) is a well-known society established at several universities around the UK. It is set up to promote cultural diversity and integration by celebrating Chinese and British culture within the university community. We want to create a community at Reading, for students of all backgrounds to come together and meet others like themselves or to learn something new about different cultures.

Hi everyone! 😄
Thank you so much for 50 signatures in support of setting up ABACUS!

We are working hard to get our committee sorted and getting it approved by RUSU.
Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

In the future we hope to host some events and socials (socially distanced and online when necessary of course) so we can all meet up and get to know each other 🥳🥳

We'll make sure to keep our page updated and let you know the result!
