A thriving wildlife pond doesn’t happen by accident… Our learners have been working hard to enhance this area as part of our Horticulture and Small Animal Care programmes, creating a space that supports biodiversity while developing their own communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. 🙌🏻
Projects like this combine environmental responsibility with meaningful learning experiences that support individual EHCP outcomes.

A huge congratulations to Frith, our Forest Lead, who was named Employee of the Term across Stable Futures and Amegreen Education ⭐
Since joining the team in January 2026, Frith has played a key role in developing our outdoor learning offer. Her passion and expertise in forest education and bushcraft have helped create meaningful opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop practical skills and thrive through outdoor learning.
Thank you for all your hard work, Frith. This recognition is thoroughly deserved 💚

Could you build a shelter using only materials found in the woodland? 🌳
Working towards their AQA Unit Award in Designing and Creating Shelters and Dens, our learners took on exactly that challenge. Along the way they developed teamwork, communication, problem solving and resilience skills while gaining a recognised accreditation.
Hands on projects like these provide meaningful opportunities for young people to build confidence and make progress towards their EHCP outcomes. 📚

What makes us who we are? 🌈
As part of Pride Month, learners created personalised flag collages to celebrate their identities. Using colours, images and symbols that reflected their interests, values and aspirations, they explored what matters most to them while developing confidence, communication and self expression skills.
Activities like this encourage conversations around identity, inclusion and respect, while supporting personal and social development in a meaningful way.

June marks the start of Pride Month 🌈
At Amegreen, we believe every child, young person and colleague deserves to feel safe, valued and respected for who they are. Creating environments where people feel accepted, supported and able to be themselves is at the heart of what we do every day.
This Pride Month, we celebrate diversity, inclusion and the strength that comes from embracing individuality 💚

Alongside the development of Juniper House School, work is also continuing on Juniper Acres, a new Stable Futures provision that will support pupils through therapeutic, hands on outdoor learning experiences including animal care, horticulture, bushcraft and forest learning. Backed by the experienced Stable Futures- Amegreen team, the provision will play an important role in supporting the wider vision for Juniper House School and the young people who attend.
