Established for over 30 years, we are a family run full day childcare facility which also offers sessional care for children from ages 9 months to 5yrs inclusive. We aim to provide variety of first hand experiences which allow children to build on their natural curiosity as learners, develop language skills, use their imagination and develop social relationships. We encourage the building of posit
ive relationships with parents’ right from the offset to support children’s emotional well-being and work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all, aiming to meet children’s individual needs. Our nursery is purposed built building, all on one level, with adjacent parking. The building consists of three playrooms which are spacious, bright, airy, well equipped and resourced. We also have child size toilets and disabled access to all areas. Within the playroom there are different areas in which the children can freely access; book corner, art area, home corner, sensory tent, movement area etc. The nursery is proud of its extremely large outdoor play area, which boasts a grassed area, a small woodland area, a hard safety surface section for ride-on toys, log cabin, tunnel, sandpit and a vegetable garden. Additional outside equipment is set out each day by the staff.
