🌳 And that’s a wrap on Week 4! 🌳

Just a few last pics from our final week of Holiday Club 📸

We’ve had sunshine, rain, plenty of mud, lots of new faces and, most importantly, a LOT of fun. The slightly apprehensive looks at the hammocks at the start of the week very quickly turned into big smiles once everyone realised just how much fun they are! 😄

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this summer, whether it was for one week or you came back for more. 💚

Four weeks have absolutely flown by, and as always, the best part has been watching friendships form, confidence grow and children simply enjoying being outdoors.

Now it’s time to pack everything away, attempt to get the mud off the kit, and give the hammocks a well-earned rest! 😂🌿

🌳🌧️ And just like that… our final week of Holiday Club is underway! 🌧️🌳

It’s been a little bit damp so far this week… but certainly not damp enough to stop the fun! 😄

And after the weather we’ve had recently, the woodland and all the plants have definitely been enjoying a very welcome drink too. 🌿💚

We’ve got lots of new faces joining us this week, which is always brilliant to see alongside plenty of familiar ones.

There were definitely a few slightly apprehensive looks when some of our newcomers first spotted the hammocks… 👀😂

“You want me to get in THAT?!”

But it didn’t take long before those nervous faces turned into massive smiles once they realised just how much fun swinging, relaxing and generally messing about in a hammock can be! 😂

That’s one of my favourite things about Holiday Club, watching children arrive unsure about something, give it a go in their own time, and suddenly discover a new favourite thing to do.

Plenty more adventures still to come this week… and if the weather wants to throw a bit more rain at us?

Well… we’re probably going to get muddy anyway! 🌧️🌳😂

🌳💦 And that’s a wrap on Week 3! 💦🌳

This week’s main aim was pretty simple… stay cool and stay hydrated! ☀️🥵

Thankfully, that’s quite easy when you’ve got hammocks in the shade catching the breeze, plenty to drink, a couple of absolutely HUGE water fights and what can only be described as approximately each child’s own body weight in ice pops! 😂🧊

We’ve had a smaller group with us this week, but what they’ve lacked in numbers they’ve more than made up for in laughs, energy and general mischief. It’s been a wonderfully chilled-out week… well, apart from when the water pistols came out!

There was also the curious case of the missing camera… 📸🤔

It eventually resurfaced, but not before apparently documenting the secret adventures of a snow leopard and two rabbits, who seem to have been having a rather lovely Holiday Club of their own. 🐆🐰🐰

As always, a huge thank you to everyone who joined us this week. We hope they’ve gone home tired, happy, full of brilliant memories… and possibly about 40% ice pop. 😂

🌿 Week 3 is underway! 🌿

We’ve got a smaller number of children booked in with us this week, but what they’ve lacked in numbers they’ve certainly made up for in laughs! 😂

It’s definitely been our most chilled-out week of the summer so far. The weather has been incredibly kind to us, and catching that gentle breeze while swinging in a hammock under the trees has been absolutely sublime. ☀️🌳

Of course, “chilled out” doesn’t mean we’ve been doing nothing. There’s been plenty of games, exploring, laughs and the usual woodland shenanigans… plus the obligatory campfire. 🔥

We’ve even toasted a marshmallow or two. Or three. Or, in one particular case, possibly eight. 👀😂 Apparently moderation isn’t on this week’s activity plan.

And tomorrow… WATER FIGHT! 💦🔫

With fewer children around, I can’t help wondering who’s going to become the main target this time…

I have a horrible feeling I already know. 🎯😂

Apologies for the delay in getting these posted, but here are a few snaps from the last couple of days at Holiday Club!

A bit of drizzle certainly didn’t dampen the mood, and a few brave souls even decided it was the perfect weather for a water fight on Wednesday! Thankfully, the rain stayed light enough for us to keep enjoying the outdoors.

As always, it’s been a brilliant mix of adventures, laughter, muddy fun, new friendships and plenty of smiles. It’s amazing how much can be packed into just a couple of days outside!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this week and helped make it another fantastic holiday club. We hope you’ve all had as much fun as we have, and we can’t wait to do it all again soon! 🌿😊
