We are aware of comments currently being shared on social media regarding the setting.

We would like to reassure all families that any concerns raised are taken seriously and are managed in line with our safeguarding and complaints procedures. These matters have been fully investigated, including consultation with relevant external agencies.

We also want to reassure parents that any changes relating to the setting’s registration, including name or URN, are completed in line with regulatory requirements and are overseen by the appropriate authorities. Any change of URN occurs as part of a formal registration process with Ofsted, following changes such as the registered entity.

Due to our duty of confidentiality, we are unable to comment on individual cases publicly.

We remain committed to providing a safe, caring and transparent environment for all children and families. If any parent has questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact the setting directly.

As a registered charity, it is a necessity to fundraise for a range of reasons. For our setting, it is to help provide new equipment for the children, ensure our facilities are well maintained and even as far as large budget projects that wouldn't even get off the ground without your kind and generous support.

We also rely on the kindness of local contractors to come to our rescue when we are out of depth with plumbing and electrical work who often offer their services for free or reduced rates.

For this reason, we have joined "Your School Lottery" to help raise funds to ensure our setting has a future.

📅 Our AGM is only 1 week away! As a charity-run pre-school we hold AGMs in-line with the requirements of the Charities Commission and it is also a good time to meet everyone, drink some tea and eat some biscuits, and sometimes cakes!

🙋We would like the welcome everyone to our AGM, especially those interested in joining our committee, although there is no obligation to join if you attend.

🪑 We will be looking to appoint a new Chair for the charity at this AGM, if you would like to register your interest in the position of Chair (or any position), or if you just have any questions, please email [email protected].

👫 If you are an adult of one or more children in our setting. Your support at these meetings is paramount in securing the future of our pre-school.

Volunteers from our Committee maintain the green spaces at our setting when it is closed, in addition to the care that it is given by our staff while they are there.

But this doesn't stop during half term, volunteers were at our setting today to cut grass, water plants and pull up weeds. Keeping on top of this helps to ensure the children have a well maintained, safe place to play and learn outside.

With more projects planned, we would like to make our outdoor spaces more educational, fun and engaging for the children at our setting.

If you feel that you could make a difference at our setting by joining our committee, keep an eye out for our AGM in October for an opportunity to join and help make a difference.
