Well done to Oliver Skelly, who made his Ulster Clubs U18 debut on Monday evening vs. Leinster. Despite the side losing a tight game, as you can see from the clip, Oliver played very well and showed great control under pressure, even playing an age group up.

Not to be today for our U16 Rugby team as they bow out at the quarter-final stage, losing a tight battle 22-21 to Markethill HS.

Special mention to our Y12's playing in their last game for the school, who have given their all over the last five years. They have represented the school admirably, from winning our first piece of Ulster level silverware to being part of the school's first touring squad.

A brilliant group of young men, who we hope to see go on and achieve great things both on and off the pitch.

Thank you for your hard work, commitment and the standards you've achieved for those in the younger year groups to aspire to.

Congratulations to Hollie Abernathy, who won the Leinster boxing championship (Girls' 47kg division). Hollie won her semi-final against an Irish champion before securing a unanimous decision in the final. A fantastic result, well done!

On Tuesday 3rd February, 3 pupils from our senior school represented RHS at the annual Skill build competition at Southern Regional College (SRC), in Newry. This competition had pupils from 17 different schools taking part.
Congratulations to John Hawthorne, Year 11 and James McCready, Year 12 who were selected to represent the Banbridge Area Learning community schools in the areas of brickwork and tiling respectively. They both acquitted themselves admirably.
A special word of congratulations to James Davidson, Year 12, who was placed third in the Motor Vehicle Servicing. All 3 pupils were a credit to the school. Well done boys!

Well done to Micah Murray and Eli Graham who recently travelled with their Glenavon Academy squad to Aston Villa. Both boys played well and the team came away with a 3-1 win against their opposition. Keep up the good work boys!
