✨ Happy 10th Birthday, Silver Slipper Performing Arts School! ✨
Where do I even begin?
Ten years ago, I was an 18-year-old girl with a big dream and one goal to make my Grandad proud. Today, I’m 28 years old, a mum to the most beautiful little girl, and I still can’t believe everything we’ve achieved together.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We’ve performed at the Winter Gardens, the Theatre Royal, Disneyland, and so many other incredible venues. We’ve taken part in competitions, exams, festivals, and community events, and every single moment has helped shape who we are today.
The biggest achievement of all has been watching our students grow. Some of the children who walked through our doors all those years ago are now adults! That is such a surreal feeling, and I couldn’t be prouder of every single student, past and present.
Silver Slipper has never just been a dance school – it’s a family. Once you’re part of Team Silvers, you’ll always be part of our family.
To every parent who has trusted us with your children over the last decade, thank you. It is an honour to watch them grow in confidence, make lifelong friendships, and achieve things they never thought possible.
To all our amazing dance mums and dads who volunteer, help backstage, sew costumes, and support us every step of the way – thank you. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
And finally, to our incredible teachers, thank you for your passion, dedication, and love for our students. We are so lucky to have you as part of Team Silvers.
