I am a local tutor from Ramsgate, Kent, and have been tutoring almost exclusively Maths since 2013. I have a Maths Degree, and am a qualified Maths teacher, working in a secondary school. I specialise in GCSE Maths, but teach Maths at any level up to A Level including Adult Learners, having previously taught KS2 to A Level, including tutoring for the Common Entrance Exam, 11+, IB, and Numeracy tes

I had so much fun on the Emergency First Aid at Work course with Kent Medical Education today, learning about and having a practice of CPR techniques and what to do when people are choking, and being bandaged up
(See super flattering photos for evidence 😅) as well as learning lots of other really helpful information.

I really enjoyed being on the other side of the desk - learning rather than teaching - and also practiced what I preach, and came away with 100% on the test 🙌

With that in mind, I still very much hope I never need to use much of it! 🤕

Just been doing birthday maths with one of my resit students, and tested out my new whiteboard pencils by drawing her a picture while she did a past paper.

We're a grade up on her usual already today and the paper isn't even finished!
Older clearly is wiser in this case, and in her words "God loves a trier!"
