Does your child use the correct pincer grip when holding a pencil?
If not, they would benefit from correcting this as early as possible. Children with poor handwriting skills often become reluctant writers. In our small group, we will work on all of the skills that support children in building strength and dexterity so that they can use a pincer grip well whilst writing. Message or call for details.

New group from September! Handwriting skills.
We have found that a significant number of children who attend classes with The Learning Creative do not have the correct pencil grip and so struggle with handwriting.
Good handwriting involves building strength and dexterity in addition to having a correct pencil grip, posture etc. The earlier that this is mastered, the better for many reasons. Now booking for September. Call or message for details and to book a place.

This Cardiff University doctoral research study aims to better understand the experiences of parents with ADHD. The researchers are exploring how different ADHD symptoms and traits, such as inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity, may influence parenting experiences and behaviours.

They are particularly keen to hear from parents with diagnosed or suspected ADHD, although all UK parents and caregivers of children aged 4–17 years are welcome to take part.
