What happens in our Year 6 group after SATs?

It becomes our YEAR 6/7 group 🤩

Our focus will shift to building more creative writing skills along with preparing for the Year 7 Maths curriculum to support the transition from KS2 to KS3 ✨

I’m so excited to continue to see the learning grow!

A really busy few weeks with so much learning and very few pictures!

Here are my super Year 6 today, showing SO much progress in such a short space of time 🤩

Busy practising function machines to find missing inputs and outputs, then moving on to using them to solve algebraic equations 👏🎓✨ superstars!! 🌟

My year 5 class also showed fab understanding of our maths work looking at converting between units of time ⭐️

A lovely start to a sunny Saturday! ☀️

Focusing on common suffixes that Year 6 children have been learning throughout KS2. This spelling domain is a common one in SATs…and a quick refresh of the rules, along with practising question types, can really help boost confidence ✨

I have a couple of spaces available in my Year 5 & 6 groups. If you think your child would benefit from some extra support, please feel free to message me and we can chat about their learning goals 📝

A reminder that there are no Saturday sessions today. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!💛

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to all my lovely families who have kept me so busy this term 🧡from 1:1 sessions, online and groups it’s been a fab term of learning! I feel so lucky to work with all the students I teach each week, I have the best job!🤩
