We Are Recruiting:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 in childcare, Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant and passionate childcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with young children, supporting their development and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment within an excellent nursery provision. Previous nursery experience and excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties

Plan and deliver, alongside the room leader, engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas.
Supervise children both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety at all times.
Support children's emotional well-being by fostering a caring and inclusive environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

Qualifications

Recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.

It’s Safer Sleep Week! 💤

Welcome to Safer Sleep Week 2025.

From 10 – 16 March, we’ll be raising awareness about safer sleep and with your help, we can save even more babies’ lives.

This year, we’re focusing on:

-Baby sleep patterns. How long do babies sleep for?

-Busting baby sleep myths. We’ll look at the evidence, and the misleading product claims that promise to help your baby sleep longer.

-Supporting you through your own lack of sleep. Helping families with sleep deprivation, making it easier to follow safer sleep, even when exhausted.

Keeping babies safe and empowering families with expert advice is what we do – but we can’t do it without you. Follow along, like, share and learn with us this week.

Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring children's safety and wellbeing at all times.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and team members.
Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages positive social interactions among children.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children and parents.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy nursery environment.

For the rest of 2024 this will be 25th September, 30th October, and 27th November.
