Lost Property

We've built up quite a collection of lost property at nursery. If you think any of the items may belong to your child, please pop in and have a look. You're very welcome to collect any belongings during dropping off and picking up your child at Holiday Club or alternatively, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday over the next two weeks.

We've had a wonderful start to our Summer Holiday Club.☀️

We've loved welcoming back some of our past children - and wow, have they grown! It's been lovely to see familiar faces again and hear all about their school adventures.

With the cooler temperatures, we've been able to spend lots of time outdoors in the garden. The children have enjoyed tackling obstacle courses, taking part in throwing and target games, making music, exploring imaginative role play, creating delicious sand pies, digging for treasure, and relaxing with some quiet time in the reading hut.📚

We created our own story board, inspired by The Three Little Pigs. The children put their drawing skills to the test and designed some fantastic homes 🛖🏠🏚for the three little pigs to live in. 🐖 🐖🐖

Next week, we'll be exploring colours through the wonderful story
The Colour Monster. We can’t wait to see what colourful adventures await! 🌈🪁🎨

Seeing so many smiling faces, hearing the laughter and watching our children make wonderful memories is exactly what Little Explorers is all about. 🌈💛

🪁Little Explorers trip 2026🪁

🐑🚜 What a fantastic day we had at the farm! 🌞💚

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of amazing memories! The children absolutely loved meeting all the different animals, feeding the adorable lambs 🐑, and enjoying a fun train ride around the farm. 🚂

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for making sure every child had the best day and created memories that will last a lifetime. 💚 You all go above and beyond!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful parents who came along today. It was so lovely to see so many of you sharing in the fun with your little ones. Your support means so much to us! 🥰

To our amazing school leavers… we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Watching you grow in confidence, learn new skills, and make wonderful friendships has been a privilege. 🐝 What a wonderful way to end our week learning about bees!
This afternoon, local beekeeper Greg from
Myst-Tree Rainford Honey brought an observation hive in for our children to explore.

Greg shared fascinating bee facts and demonstrated essential bee keeping tools.
The children were fantastic listeners and loved

●🍯 tasting fresh honey and beeswax

●🧤 trying on the official beekeeper hat and gloves

●🔍 watching the bees safely up close

A huge thank you to Greg and Katherine for
giving up their time and providing such an incredible firsthand learning experience.
The children were absolutely captivated and we deeply appreciate your generosity in sharing your time, passion and bees with us.
