This time we headed to Bristol Aquarium for a day of underwater adventures! 🌊✨ We had so much fun exploring all the amazing sea life, discovering new creatures and learning lots along the way.

There were plenty of opportunities for the children to be curious, ask questions and use their imaginations as we explored the different habitats. πŸŸπŸ™

🌳 Park adventures are always a favourite! πŸ’š

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful morning at the park, making the most of the fresh air and open space. The children had so much fun climbing, balancing, spinning and running across the grass, developing their confidence, coordination and gross motor skills through play.

We also took a stroll to feed the ducks, chatting about the different birds we could see and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. πŸ¦†

It’s amazing how much learning happens outdoorsβ€”from building physical skills and confidence to encouraging curiosity, communication and a love of nature.

A happy day full of smiles, laughter and adventure! πŸŒžπŸƒ

We’ve been making the most of the warm weather with lots of outdoor water play fun β˜€οΈπŸ’¦

The children loved splashing in the paddling pool, using scoops to collect reusable ice cubes and cooling off with the splash pad. Water play is such a fantastic way to encourage sensory exploration, confidence building and lots of laughter!

It’s always lovely to see children who may feel unsure at first gradually gain confidence, join in and discover just how much fun water play can be 😊

This morning at toddler group we had some very special visitors – ducklings! The children were so excited to meet them and loved watching them waddle around, flap their tiny wings, and have a little swim. We talked about how ducklings grow, what they eat, and how we should use gentle hands around animals.

There were lots of smiles, giggles, and curious questions as the children took turns carefully stroking the soft ducklings. It was a lovely hands-on experience and a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn more about nature and caring for animals.

We all had a quacking good time! πŸ¦†

This week the children enjoyed a lovely painting activity where they explored colours, creativity, and self-expression. 🎨

The children had lots of fun using different colours and brushes to create their own unique artwork. Activities like painting help to support fine motor skills, imagination, confidence, and communication while encouraging the children to make their own creative choices.

At the end of the activity, the children especially enjoyed exploring the paint with their hands, feeling the different textures and making handprints and marks. This sensory experience encouraged curiosity, exploration, and lots of smiles! 😊

It was wonderful to see their concentration, excitement, and pride in their creations today.
