🎖️Cadet Spotlight!🎖️

A huge congratulations to Cdt Sgt Liam Blacker on successfully completing his Master Cadet Course at CTC Frimley Park this week! 👏

The Master Cadet Course is regarded as the pinnacle of a cadet’s training journey, designed to further develop the leadership, instructional and administrative skills of senior cadets.

Successfully completing the course is a major milestone and qualifies cadets for Master Cadet — the highest star level available within the Army Cadets.

Contingent Commander, Captain Mason visited Cdt Sgt Blacker’s Final Parade and commented:
‘This is a huge achievement for Liam. As the youngest cadet on the course, he had some big boots to fill. We are incredibly proud of Liam and we can already see the huge difference in his confidence.’

A huge congratulations to Cdt Sgt Maj Oscar Mallon on successfully completing his Master Cadet Course at CTC Frimley Park this week! 👏

Sgt Maj Mallon is the first cadet from Writhlington CCF to ever attend the Master Cadet Course, making this a particularly significant achievement for both Oscar and the Contingent!

The Master Cadet Course is regarded as the pinnacle of a cadet’s training journey, designed to further develop the leadership, instructional and administrative skills of senior cadets.

Successfully completing the course is a major milestone and qualifies cadets for Master Cadet — the highest star level available within the Army Cadets.

Oscar has represented Writhlington CCF exceptionally well throughout his cadet career, and we are incredibly proud of what he has achieved. A fantastic accomplishment and one that sets a brilliant example for the cadets who follow him.

Cadet Cambrian Patrol 2026! ⭐️

A huge congratulations to our incredible Cadet Cambrian Patrol Team for becoming the first ever from Writhlington CCF to complete the National Event, representing HQ South West!

They pushed through rain, hail storms and difficult terrain to cross the finish line. Whilst they missed out on a medal this year, finishing the exercise in itself is a huge victory.

We couldn’t be prouder of their grit, teamwork and determination. 💪🏽
