🌑✨ Pre-School 2 have created their very own solar eclipses using chalk on black paper!

The children learned all about how the sun and the moon finally said hello to each other for the first time in a very long time. With the help of a familiar practitioner, they have created their own beautiful solar eclipse artwork; developing their fine motor skills along the way.

Mary Beary went on a special baking adventure with a child at home. Together, they baked delicious chocolate brownies. Before they began, they washed their hands, gathered their ingredients, and talked about the importance of kitchen safety.

This baking adventure encouraged a wide range of learning, including:
• Literacy through listening, speaking, and following instructions.
• Science through observing changes in ingredients during baking.
• Physical development through mixing, pouring, and fine motor skills.
• Personal, social, and emotional development by building confidence, patience, and cooperation.
• Communication and language by introducing new vocabulary and encouraging conversation.
• Understanding the world by exploring where ingredients come from and how food is prepared.

The experience was filled with fun, creativity, and hands-on learning, showing that baking together is a wonderful way to develop important skills while making lasting memories.

Leah has shown great initiative over the past few weeks while supporting the Toddler room. She has been a fantastic help to the team and is always willing to support her colleagues wherever needed.

Leah is wonderful with the children and has planned a range of engaging activities that are thoughtfully tailored to their individual needs and interests. Her activities are always well planned and provide meaningful learning experiences that support the children's development.

As another wonderful nursery year comes to an end, it's time for us to say goodbye to some very special childen as they begin their exciting new adventure at school.

Watching each of you grow in confidence, kindness and independence has been such a privilege. From your first days with us to your last, you've filled our nursery with laughter, smiles and unforgettable memories.

Although we'll miss your happy faces every day, we couldn't be prouder of all you've achieved. We know you'll continue to shine brightly, make new friends and embrace every opportunity that comes your way.

To all of our school leavers, we wish you the very best of luck as you start this exciting new chapter. Always believe in yourselves, be kind, be brave, and never stop learning. We'll never forget you!

A huge thank you to Gerry's Ices for stopping by today and treating all of our children and staff to a delicious ice cream! 🍦💛

What a fantastic way to cool everyone down in this scorching weather! There were lots of happy smiles, sticky fingers, and full tummies all round! The perfect Friday treat! 😋🌈

As we continue to enjoy the sunshine, here are a few important Sun Safety Tips to help keep everyone safe:
☀️ Apply sunscreen before heading outdoors and reapply it regularly.
🧢 Wear a sun hat to protect little faces and necks.
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
🌳 Take regular breaks in the shade, especially during the hottest part of the day.
👕 Dress in light, loose-fitting clothing to help keep cool.

🌈🎓 What a fantastic Graduation we had yesterday! 🎓🌈

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents for joining us to celebrate such a special milestone, and to our amazing children for making the day so memorable with your smiles, confidence, and enthusiasm. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

A very special thank you also goes to our incredible Pre-School 2 team for all of their hard work, dedication, and care in creating such a wonderful celebration. Your commitment to making every child feel valued and celebrated is truly appreciated.

Graduation is always such a special way to end a busy term filled with fun, laughter, learning, and so many wonderful memories made with friends. As our children get ready for their next exciting adventure, we wish them all the happiness and success in the world. We know they will all continue to shine brightly! 🌈✨
