Is your little one 2 years old or turning 2 soon? 🍎

We have spaces available from September at Apple Blossom Nursery in Purton and would love to welcome some new little blossoms into our nursery family. 🌸

We are a small, friendly and nurturing nursery for children from 2 years old until they start school, where we pride ourselves on really getting to know every child and helping them learn, grow and flourish at their own pace. 🌱

🌸 A Heartfelt Thank You 🌸

As another wonderful year at Apple Blossom Nursery comes to an end, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing families for the beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts and kind words. Your generosity and support mean so much to every one of us.

It has been an absolute privilege to get to know each and every child. Watching them grow in confidence, develop new skills, build friendships and create so many happy memories has been the greatest reward. We are incredibly proud of every single one of them.

To our children who are leaving us to begin their next adventure at school, we wish you every happiness and success. We know you will all achieve amazing things, and although we will miss your smiling faces every day, we are so excited to see what the future holds for you. Remember, you will always be a part of the Apple Blossom family. 🍎🌸

To the families returning in September, and to those joining us for the very first time, we can't wait to welcome you back for another year filled with fun, laughter, learning and adventure.

🌾🚜 **What a wonderful day we had at Farmer Gow's!** 🐷🐐🐑🐄

Today the children from Apple Blossom Nursery, along with their families, enjoyed a fantastic day out at Farmer Gow's.

We had so much fun feeding the pigs, goats, sheep and cattle, holding the fluffy chicks, collecting fresh eggs, taking part in a treasure hunt,hiding in the long grass and finishing the day with a well-earned ice lolly in the sunshine! ☀️🍦

It was lovely to see the children exploring, learning about the animals, building their confidence, and creating special memories with their families and friends.

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us and to the wonderful team at Farmer Gow's for making us feel so welcome. We had an amazing day and can't wait to visit again! 💚

🦋✨ They’ve Emerged! Butterfly Magic at Apple Blossom Nursery ✨🦋
Wow—what an exciting moment for us all… our pupae have transformed into beautiful butterflies! 🦋
The children have been absolutely fascinated watching this incredible journey, from tiny caterpillars to chrysalis, and now to butterflies ready to spread their wings. It’s been such a magical and memorable experience for everyone 💛
There have been lots of smiles, wonder, and excitement as we’ve seen them emerge—it truly brings learning to life in the most special way.
We’ve loved sharing this journey together and talking about change, growth, and nature. What an amazing way to learn! 🌿✨

The Apple Blossom team have been working incredibly hard and generously giving up their own time to complete Inclusive Practice training as part of working towards achieving our Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement 💚

We are so proud of the dedication, commitment and passion our team shows every day to ensure all children and families feel welcomed, supported and included within our nursery community 🌈

At the beginning of the week this happened to one of our caterpillars 🐛✨
The children have loved watching the amazing transformation and he is now hanging safely in his chrysalis stage 🦋
This has been such a wonderful hands-on learning experience, helping the children explore nature, life cycles and change in a real and meaningful way. We can’t wait to see what happens next! 💚

We are so grateful to our amazing parents and friends for supporting Apple Blossom Nursery through 💚
Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we have successfully purchased a new freezer ready for all our summer activities! ☀️🍦
The children will be able to enjoy making smoothies, ice lollies and exploring sensory ice cube play during the warmer months. We can’t wait to create lots of fun learning experiences together!

🐛✨ Caterpillar Update at Apple Blossom Nursery ✨🐛
Our caterpillars are growing fast! The children have been carefully observing them and noticed they are now around ½ cm to 1½ cm long.
They’ve described them brilliantly as “long, black with white stripes and lots of little feet”such great noticing skills! 👀
We’ve also had some very interesting discussions about their habitat. The children spotted that the caterpillars’ home is getting quite dirty, which led to conversations about how living things eat, grow, and produce waste. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to introduce early science concepts in a real and meaningful way. 🌿
The children are so engaged, watching them wriggle around and change a little more each day. We’re continuing to encourage curiosity, questioning, and close observation as we follow their journey.
We can’t wait to see what happens next! 🦋✨
