Today, our NZ, SL and USA classes were lucky enough to welcome Phil from Jaws N Claws as part of our Rumble in the Jungle topic!

Phil brought along an amazing selection of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates for the children to discover, including hissing cockroaches, millipedes, tree frogs, an African bullfrog, a blue-tongued skink, a corn snake, a Royal python and two red-legged tortoises.

The children were absolutely fascinated by these incredible animals and absorbed so much information about their habitats, behaviours and habits. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience and certainly brought our topic to life!

A huge thank you, Phil, for sharing your knowledge and introducing the children to such a wonderful variety of creatures!

Our South Africa class meet with their buddy readers in New Zealand class this week.

The older children brought along their favourite books from home and enjoyed sharing them with their buddies. It was lovely to see the children talking about books they love, listening to one another, and discovering new stories together.

Some of our UK class got to meet the class stick insects today, and they were all so excited and fascinated!

We learned that they have grippy feet and can hold on upside down and they don't have bones like us, they have an exoskeleton!!

There were lots of curious little faces, gentle hands and plenty of questions as we learned more about these amazing creatures.

Last week, South Africa took on the challenge of building the tallest tower using only spaghetti and marshmallows!

They worked brilliantly together, solving architectural challenges, sharing ideas and learning the power of teamwork.

Lots of creativity, plenty of laughs, and some impressive towers along the way!
