Providers have been clear. When schools move into the wraparound space without engaging the existing provision already serving their families, it does not feel like progress. It feels like loss.
What the sector has asked for, consistently, is collaboration. Schools working with providers. Guidance that reflects that expectation. A system that values what is already there rather than replacing it.
We have heard that. We have taken it to the DfE. And we will keep taking it, because this is not a small issue. It is the future shape of our sector.
Your voice matters in that conversation. And we are making sure it is heard.
