We are lucky enough to have Iain from Bike it Moor coming in next week to work on any bikes or scooters and do a safety check for pupils, staff or family members. Please share this around the community so we can all give our bikes a proper check before the six weeks holiday.

Yesterday, our Year 6s had the chance to play at Home Park as part of an Argyle initiative to get as many local children playing football on the pitch.
The children were brilliant all day and we even witnessed a Princetown hat-trick on Home Park.
Not bad for a Wednesday!

We’re excited to share that our school will be introducing a refreshed logo.
This change is part of a wider effort to ensure our school’s identity reflects who we are today — a welcoming, ambitious and forward-thinking community, where every child is encouraged to thrive.
You’ll begin to see the new logo appearing on school letters, our website, and uniform over time. There is no expectation to replace any existing uniform items immediately — these can continue to be worn as usual.
We’re proud of this next step for our school and look forward to many more in the future.

🌟 Breakfast Club is Ready! 🌟

We’re so pleased to share that our new Breakfast Club is all set up and ready for the children to enjoy from Monday!

Children can arrive anytime from 07:30, and the club will be free for all. There is no need to book — simply sign your child in on arrival using the signing sheet so we can keep track of attendance each day.

We’re really excited to be able to offer this opportunity and know it will be a lovely, calm start to the day. We kindly ask that all children show respect to the new equipment and to each other while attending.

We have ordered a bell for the entrance to the hall, but unfortunately it hasn’t arrived just yet. In the meantime, we will do our utmost to monitor the front door as closely as possible.

Two members of school staff will be present each morning. If you are ever able to offer a little support at any point during the club, it would be very much appreciated.

🌟 Yesterday marked National Offer Day! 🌟

The day you find out which school your child has been offered a Reception place at for September 📚✨

You should have received an email from Devon Council Admissions.
👉 If you did not receive this yesterday, please contact Devon Council Admissions directly.
👉 You can also check your offer via the online admissions portal.

You will also receive a welcome email from us early next week, which will begin our transition process.
Please note, this email will be sent to the person who submitted the school application.
Current Princetown Pre-Schoolers, who will be attending our school in September, will also receive the same information, ensuring all families receive the relevant details.

We are very excited to welcome your child to Princetown Primary School and to start sharing our transition arrangements, which will include:

✅ A welcome email with general transition information and basic details to be completed
✅Mrs Church (Owls teacher) and Mr Bullock (Headteacher) visiting your child at their pre‑school.
✅ Forest School ‘Stay and Play’ transition sessions.
✅ A parent welcome meeting
✅ An in‑school family visit / home visit.
✅ A welcome pack for every child, including a book bag.
