Year 13 Geographers have had a fantastic 3 days down in Swanage undertaking investigations in support of their NEA.

They have measured beach profiles, analysed sand dunes and assessed landforms, whilst enjoying some spectacular scenery - and extremes of weather!

They wrapped up the trip this morning with an energetic hike from Lulworth Cover to Durdle Door, taking in incredible views and lungfuls of bracing sea air.

Huge thanks to Miss Walters for facilitating the trip with such energy and enthusiasm.

It's been a great start to the academic year in the PE department with some excellent performances from our football teams across all age groups. ⚽

The U14 girls have secured impressive back to back victories, and the Y8 and Y9 boys teams stormed to victory in the first round of the County Cup. The newly formed U18 team has also been in action, as have our new Year 7s, all showing great promise for the season ahead! 💪

Go Team PRS!

On Monday, Mrs Bright welcomed Richie Reading and Claire Ford from RAF Catering and Recruitment to talk to Year 11 Food Tech students about careers in the RAF, with a specific focus on catering.

A huge thank you to both for delivering such an informative and motivational talk. Students came away with a broad understanding of the civilian careers on offer across the RAF and the possibilities that it provides as an employer.

Last week we were delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to PRS for our Open Events. Across two mornings and one evening, we were able to showcase our school and all that it can offer!

We are tremendously proud of all our student ambassadors and tour guides who helped make the events run smoothly and brought warmth, enthusiasm and knowledge to their job!

If you have a child in Year 6 and are currently considering your options for secondary school, come and see PRS in action. We have 2 more open mornings in October; bookings are open!
