Message from Mrs Hamilton

I am delighted and honoured to be taking on the role of Acting Head Teacher at Heathfield Primary. Heathfield is a school that means a great deal to me, both personally and professionally, and I am incredibly proud to lead such a wonderful school community.

Interestingly, my connection with Heathfield goes back almost 20 years. Heathfield was the first school where I worked as a probationer teacher in 2007, which makes being Acting Head Teacher here a real privilege.

I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, amazing pupils and supportive families as we continue to build on the many strengths of our school and provide the very best experiences and opportunities for every child.

Happy Monday 🤩- Reminder that the P1 & 2 walk way is now open and all p1 & 2 will enter and exit via their playground.

P3 & 5 will enter and exit near the EYC and P4 & 6 via the middle doors.

I know our pupils will continue to have the same quality learning and care as always. 💞

Our fabulous Mrs Thomson will be continuing in her role as our Support and Development Worker this year. This means that if your child is absent and we haven’t heard from you, she will give you a quick call to check in.

Mrs Thomson is here to support all of our pupils, so if you see her around the playground, be sure to give her a wave! 😊

Drop off where a member of staff will welcome you, and lead you to their class! ♥️
